BULLETS4LIFE
"No Bullet Zone" Workshops
To reduce the number of bullets on South Florida's streets, B4L collects bullet donations from gun owners who denounce violence. During these workshops, students destroy bullets and turn them into beautiful bracelets instead, all while fundraising for B4L's work helping victims' families. Read about Bullets4Life here.

Past Events
To remember the Parkland shooting, 30 students participated in the workshop to raise $320 which went towards buying a headstone for a mother who lost her son to gun violence. Bullets4Life works to destroy bullets which people donate to them in order to turn them into beautiful bracelets instead. One bullet destroyed is one life saved. After the Buffalo Shooting and the Uvalde Shooting, students felt afraid, heartbroken, and angry. To channel their outrage into action, over 130 students joined the workshop to raise over $1,300 for victims’ families, funeral costs, mental health counseling, and the organization’s advocacy. This was Bullets4Life’s largest workshop ever, and they collected the most donations in a single day from our workshop. Watch this video about Workshop #2 here.
Before Heritage's Powder Puff football game, Bullets4Life hosted a pop-up workshop which allowed 30 students to destroy bullets and make their own bracelets. We raised $250; volunteers and participants earned 40 community service hours in total.
On April 21, 2023, Bullets4Life made a much-awaited return to American Heritage. Over 160 students participated to destroy about 200 bullets, raising $1,100 for the organization.
